THE STS-27 STARSHIP

A 300-Year Construction

The STS-27 is the absolute culmination of Astrocol science. If it took three centuries to build, it is because of the extreme rarity of the materials required for its structure. It is not a simple assembly of metal, but a complex metamorphic structure capable of changing shape. The collection of these resources across the galaxy and the meticulous assembly make this ship a unique masterpiece, impossible to mass-produce.

Various Propulsion Modes

The Double Force Field For interstellar travel, the ship deploys a unique technology based on the synergy of two force fields. The first field projects a tunnel ahead of the ship, tracing a path similar to the rails of a celestial train. The second force field wraps around the hull to isolate it. The subtlety lies here: the ship is no longer in contact with space, it is the force field that is in direct contact with the universe. This field tricks space-time into believing there is nothing inside. This physical "illusion" nullifies the ship's mass, allowing it to instantly exceed the speed of light.

Energy Source: Element 115

The ship's core is powered by stable Element 115. To obtain it, the Astrocols must approach high-pressure gaseous planets. Extraction is a high-risk maneuver because the ship must hover just above these hostile worlds, subjected to intense radiation and titanic force fields. Using a plasma tractor beam, they siphon the necessary matter. It is a long, difficult, and meticulous process, executed with extreme caution to maintain the absolute safety of the crew.

A Sanctuary of Knowledge

The interior of the ship offers an exceptional level of comfort, designed for the well-being of a crew dedicated to science. It is an organized society that uses a universal currency: Astrocredits. Although there is no coercive hierarchy or aggressive competition, this economy helps structure exchanges. Organization remains natural: everyone works out of passion. To maintain this balance, births are planned, and children, being rare, are cherished by all.

The Crew

The ship houses the three Astrocol life forms as well as their Tazerak allies. The onboard air is subject to a specific setting to be breathable by all. This purified air possesses unique properties: it is beneficial for humans. This is why the ship also counts among its crew humans selected during the study of Earth. These men and women are science enthusiasts, eager to learn, who have chosen of their own free will to leave Earth permanently. By joining the STS-27, they contribute to galactic knowledge while enjoying an environment that preserves their health.

Planetary Anchoring

When the ship needs to land, it generates a structural tower beneath its base that rests firmly on the ground. To disembark, the crew uses a vertical force field that acts as an immaterial elevator, gently setting passengers down.
